By accessing and using QuickCount.io ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

QuickCount.io is an AI-powered bookkeeping platform designed for solopreneurs, indie hackers, and small businesses. Our Service provides:

  • Automated receipt scanning and expense categorization using artificial intelligence
  • Double-entry bookkeeping and journal entry management
  • Financial reporting including income statements, balance sheets, and trial balances
  • Multi-currency support and transaction management
  • Cloud-based data storage and access

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use QuickCount.io, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You may register using email/password or through third-party authentication providers (Google, Apple).

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

3.3 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use our Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Pricing Plans

QuickCount.io offers multiple subscription tiers:

  • Starter Plan: Limited AI scans per month with basic features
  • Pro Plan: Unlimited AI scans with advanced reporting and priority support

Current pricing and plan details are available on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

4.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

4.3 Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan). You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

4.4 Refund Policy

Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, please contact our support team within 30 days of your charge. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.

4.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that time.

5. User Data and Content

5.1 Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to the financial data, receipts, and other content you upload to QuickCount.io. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.2 Data Accuracy

While our AI technology strives for accuracy in categorizing transactions and extracting receipt information, you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all data. QuickCount.io is not responsible for errors in AI-generated categorizations or extractions.

5.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload or submit:

  • Illegal, fraudulent, or misleading information
  • Content that violates intellectual property rights
  • Malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
  • Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use QuickCount.io only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Use automated tools to scrape, extract, or harvest data from the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. AI Technology and Limitations

7.1 AI-Powered Features

QuickCount.io uses artificial intelligence (powered by Google Gemini) to automatically extract information from receipts and categorize transactions. While we strive for accuracy, AI technology is not perfect and may produce errors.

7.2 User Responsibility

You acknowledge that AI-generated results are suggestions and must be reviewed and verified by you. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your financial records and any decisions made based on data processed by our Service.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 Our Property

QuickCount.io, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content (excluding user content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8.2 Trademarks

"QuickCount.io" and our logo are trademarks. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service Provided "As Is"

QuickCount.io is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 Not Professional Advice

QuickCount.io is a bookkeeping tool and does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You should consult with qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickCount.io and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9.4 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your data after a reasonable period following termination. You should export any data you wish to retain before terminating your account.
